Pickwick Academy Trust Governance Documents
The role of the Local Governance Committee is to work closely with the Headteacher and staff to provide the very best education that we can for the children of our school. We are here to make sure that the school’s performance is evaluated and continuously improves, to provide the strategic direction of the school, to ensure that legal obligations are met and that the school keeps abreast of whatever challenges circumstances throw our way. Most of all, we are here because we care for our school and want it to succeed.
If a parent or carer has a concern about their child or the school generally, they should speak in the first instance with their class teacher or Headteacher, whichever is appropriate. If the concern cannot be resolved satisfactorily, they may contact the Local Governance Committee via the school office, or by email: governingboard@gillinghamwyke.dorset.sch.ukÂ
It is a pleasure to contribute to the life and wellbeing of this happy school.
